Pricing Information – Residential Conveyancing

In accordance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Transparency Rules, we have set out below our average conveyancing fees. The fees listed are for a conveyancing transaction which does not have any legal or complex issues. Our fees cover all of the work required to complete your sale, purchase or re-mortgage including dealing with payment of stamp duty and property registration where applicabl.

VALUE ADDED TAX

The fees quoted above are exclusive of VAT. We are required to charge VAT at the current rate of 20% in addition to the legal fees quoted.

DISBURSEMENTS FEES

In addition to the above, there are disbursements fees. We shall provide you with full details in our written quotation and client care letter subsequently. Disbursements are fees paid to third parties on your behalf, they are not our charges. See table below for list of disbursements. Do note that this is not an exhaustive list.

TIMESCALE

On average, conveyancing matters take between 2 to 6 months to conclude. However, some cases may take longer depending on the circumstances of the transaction. We will keep you updated throughout the course of your transaction.

SOLICITOR RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CASE

Your matter will be handled by the Principal Solicitor who has been a practising solicitor for several years. In addition, we also have paralegals and caseworkers who carry out work on case files under the supervision of the Principal Solicitor.
